About Me/T7 Fun Facts

Despite the name, this page is not only about me, but also how I started making sprites and toons.

About Me:

My real name is Diego, but I like to use IslandWalker as a username. It all started as my username on BMGF, an online forum, and the name kind of stuck. I became interested in art somewhere around 6th grade (two years ago now) when I discovered I was actually getting better at it. After I joined the BMGF community, I saw some people made sprites (visit the Sprites tab to learn more). I decided to try them out, so I made a sprite shop. I closed it down and opened a new one, which is open for requesting if you're a member of the site.

T7 toons, my own art style, began last year. I made a cartoon on a piece of paper, and then cut it out. It was all floppy, so I put tape on it. The first toon was born. I made 6 others, and the "Toon 7" inspired me to make more. Besides the original T7, there are about 30 pseudo-originals that I lined up in order on my desk. When I lost count of the ones I was making, I just stopped counting them (and they didn't fit across my desk anymore). When I got to about 100, I made the inventory to keep track of all of them.

T7 Fun Facts:

-Uglyface, Norris, and T14 Starship are the only toons made on lined paper.
-T14 Starship was made before T7 Toons even started, and it was turned into a toon later.
-Disco Turtle was the first toon to have credit from another person.
-The smallest toon to date is P3 Pocket.
-The largest toon to date is T14 Starship.
-The original T7 are Uglyface, Kroc, Derp, http://474, Chuck, Pudges, and Metal Turtle.
-Hydreigon was the first toon to not fit in the original toon bag, made of graph paper and about the size of Huge Golden Wii.
-There is a lost toon, one of the first 60 or so, that got lost and never got replaced. To this day, I still can't remember what it was.
